They're very easy to overlook until a show of blood reminds you they're still there! As durable as the vaginal and intestinal tissues can be from blunt activity, your nails can easily cause minor to moderate lacerations if you're not careful and you probably won't even feel it happen. Blood is the last thing you want to see when you withdraw your fingers or hand during dildo, vaginal or anal play, but if you do and there was no previous indication of pain, chances are a fingernail got you. For any internal body play, trimming and smoothing fingernails very short is ideal and highly recommended, along with a thorough sanitizing hand washing. But if you just have to keep some nail fashion, it would be smart to invest in a box of nitrile gloves (quantities will vary by manufacturer). They are better than latex or vinyl, more hypoallergenic and not expensive. Black is the favored "BDSM color" used in the lifestyle, but these very tactile gloves can be found in many colors.
If a scratch or minor cut should happen, the first thing NOT to do is panic at the site of your own blood. Stop your play and calmly wipe yourself up with toilet paper or a clean, wet washcloth. Give yourself a moment to make sure any flow of blood slows or seems to stop. Put on a pad or dark underwear, then check yourself a few minutes later. A slight show or blood droplet into the toilet after a slight push may still be possible. Give it a few more minutes and repeat the check again. By the second or third check, a toilet paper wiping should be just slightly pink (from mixing with the lube) or back to normal and clear of blood. Under normal conditions, we always recommend lube as the first choice for dildo play. It's designed just for this purpose, fast and easy to use. But in the case of this minor emergency, you only need three things to create a nice batch of some of the slickest stuff on earth – your very own natural mucus. Those three things are:
1. A smooth 1.5 inch thick dildo (or smaller size).
2. A medium size drinking glass (or small bowl).
3. The ability or desire to deepthroat.
For those of you who remember what we're talking about, your ah-ha! moment is happening right about now.
For the rest of you, the reason this is not a common "go to" is because it takes a little time and not everyone is crazy about, or even tried, oral with a faux phallus. However, anyone who has practiced developing their deepthroating skills, knows it produces an over abundance of a very natural protectant in the form of slimy, thick and stringy mucus. This one is a biggie. Many experienced anal aficionados would say there are two kinds of anal play in this world: play before "hitting the wall" and anal play after – it makes that much difference. Many people don't even know it's a thing or are ever instructed how to get past (enter) this point. All they know is that it "pokes in there and hurts" after 6 to 7 inches. People who really want to enjoy anal sex that don't know how to breach this point, can get very frustrated and stop anal altogether. That would be a shame and we are here to help you unlock this magic door into a world of penetration nirvana that all can experience – female, male or otherwise!
We're making this sound more difficult than it really is because it's so important. But it's really simple – you just have to navigate into the sigmoid colon! The reason people miss it, is because it's a smaller opening, offset, and somewhat squished closed at the end of the rectum. And this is because it's literally at a bend called the rectosigmoid junction. But it's no more than another hole that must be entered. Continuing on, you will learn best with a thinner (1.25" to 1.5" Dia.) 10" or longer dildo. You could use an 8 or 9 inch dildo, but it will be a very exciting moment so you really want to notice your success when it disappears inside your body. You will feel it too, strange at first, but see it even better!
Clean yourself out and loosen (warm-up) your anus first. Did you use your enema bulb or shower wand? (Hold that thought, because you're about to have an ah-ha! moment.) With the aforementioned dildo size, usually a good clean-out will also suffice as the warm-up for this effort. Then here's where the beneficial Tip really starts: For those who are attempting this for the first time – lift your left leg in such a way that you are resting your foot onto a counter, like the bathroom sink. Lean in slightly so you can rest your left shoulder against your upraised knee. This position will slightly lift the intestine, allowing for much easier straightening of the sigmoid colon above the rectum upon entering. Next, lube a finger or two and feel up inside your squishy rectum while giving a slight "BM" push downward at the same time. The push is to help bring the opening to you, since your fingers are only a few inches long. See if you can locate the small offset hole into the sigmoid colon as your rectum descends. It should feel like it's to the backside of the rectum, not in the center (it will shift a bit from its normal position due to the pushing), and will be about the width of a finger. If you can't find it, that's ok. If you can, great, as it will give you something to aim for. (Remember sticking in your enema bulb tube or shower wand? Bingo!) After that little exercise, the next step is to insert the lubed dildo into yourself while repeating that same push, bringing the opening that you may have felt into an easier position to enter. Gently push the dildo in, aiming for that hole. If no success, back it out and try again. This may take several tries or even different attempts, but eventually you will find it. And when you do, that dildo will look like it's disappearing into your body and you'll feel like Neo in the Matrix when they plug into his head! Remember, you are breaching a new hole, so it may "ouch" just a tad upon entry, but it may not. This hole is already far more flexible than the anus, and the pushing also helps it relax. With practice, entering will become much easier, even in different positions.
So, good luck and be patient! You can trust that it's there, and it will welcome you in!
Once you get to know your own body, all levels of dildo users can train with this warm-up technique, but for LARGE and EXTREME Level users, it's almost a must that jump-starts the loosening process – anywhere from 2 to 3 inches of gape, or larger depending on the individual. "But didn't you say that SLOW always means GO?" Yes, always, even in this instance. However, at the larger levels, user's holes will be trained loose enough that they will easily be able to bypass smaller dildo warm-ups with this technique if they want. Keep in mind, these Tips are mainly intended for the benefit of users still gaining experience, but most of the advanced users that read this, already practice their own techniques, likely very similar to these. A variation of this technique could be applied vaginally, but these positions and steps will be anal specific. This can be achieved by a minimum of four reps with a speculum-like stretch, pulling in opposite directions. You'll be mimicking the actions and results of a medical speculum device like the one pictured above, and unless you're confident that you've thoroughly cleaned out, we recommend doing this in the shower. And one more reminder before we begin, fingernails should be trimmed short and filed smooth or gloved.
STRETCH REP #1 – is only done with one or two fingers (digits) from each hand. For best results, one hand's fingers should be inserted into the anus from the front side of the body and the other from the back side. Lube those fingers and ass generously, then reach up and in, gently inserting both finger sets until you feel them loop over the anal band(s) – it should feel about an inch deep. Slowly begin to pull, spreading yourself open until you just start feeling your old friend "lightning pain" say hello. Hold that for a quick second and release. Wait a minute but not too long. Any minor pain – because you purposefully kept it that way – should subside in a moment.
STRETCH REP #2 – Same steps, except this time insert two or three fingers from each hand. You'll notice that you can already pull yourself open farther before any pain starts to complain. Minor pleasurable sensations may also begin to be felt around your anus and perineum. Again, stop at the pain and hold, then release. Wait a couple minutes this time to let your hole fully recuperate, because the next pull will get down to business.
STRETCH REP #3 – Same steps, except now you're going to pull yourself open with firm intention, but not quite as hard as you can. Your hole will feel more like a small gape and maybe the rectum will start peeking a bit before the pain says far enough. And yet, in the process, orgasmic sensations during the pull may also be growing pleasantly stronger. Hold to a count of three. Release and wait a few. You're doing great!
STRETCH REP #4 – This could be your final stretch before starting your dildo play, but that's up to you and your goals. Ready and stabilize yourself into position and pull your anus open very hard, holding it as long as you can. You arms may actually shudder a bit from the strain and you should feel as if your hole won't open any further to the point that you think you might actually rip yourself. Never fear – unless you have hulk-like strength – flesh is very elastic and tough, and that's why you stretch open incrementally. That's also why training is so important for EXTREME dildo growth, because your stretching advancement at your max will be difficult to actually feel. But it occurs. You should be stretched loose enough that you'll feel gaped and maybe a small peek of prolapse. Clenching your anus closed will feel like it takes great effort now (no need to worry). Any minor pain will be numbed and likely have already been replaced by ever growing pleasure sensations that have your eyes rolling a bit. You're ready to rock and roll and give that dildo a go!
When an EXTREME level of anal play is reached with thick dildos, you sometimes realize the trained body cavity opening that was once your normal anus, may have width limitations – especially in men, since their pelvis wasn't designed for childbirth. Just at the most inner anal ring, you may feel what seems like unyielding pressure throughout the lower ischium bones on either side of the pelvic girdle. That pressure will differ for every individual, but there is more room to stretch your hole front to back than there is side to side. Unless it's a perfect butt plug, EXTREME phallic head shapes and angles aren't always perfectly round. You can work around that pressure by inserting your behemoth dildo 90 degrees (sideways), then if necessary, rotate it back around once inserted into the rectum. Voilà!
